Air Fryer Potato Slices

Wash and Slice the Potatoes
Rinse the potatoes well. You can peel them or leave the skin on—your choice.
Cut the potatoes into thin round slices (about 1/8-inch thick). Use a knife or a slicer to make even pieces.

Soak the Slices (Optional)
Put the potato slices in a bowl of cold water and let them sit for 15–30 minutes. This removes extra starch, which helps them get crispier.
After soaking, drain the water and dry the slices with a clean towel.

Add Oil and Spices
Place the slices in a bowl. Add olive oil and any spices you like. Mix everything so the slices are coated evenly.

Air Fry the Potato Slices
Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
Put the slices in the air fryer basket in a single layer (don’t stack them).
Cook for 10–15 minutes, turning them halfway through.
Keep checking them near the end so they don’t burn.

Ready to Serve
Take them out when they’re golden and crispy. Sprinkle some salt or extra seasoning if you want.
Enjoy hot with your favorite dip or as a snack.

 Tips & Tricks:

  • Thinner slices turn out crispier.
  • For chips that are crispy outside and soft inside, cut the slices a bit thicker and add 1–2 minutes extra cooking time.
  • Don’t overload the basket—cook in batches if needed.
