Ingredients

1 large piece of fresh ginger (about 150–200 g)

2 large lemons (preferably organic)

2 liters of water

1 tablespoon of honey (optional, for sweetness)

🥣 Instructions

Prepare the ginger:
Wash the ginger thoroughly (no need to peel if organic). Slice it thinly to release more flavor and nutrients.

Boil the water:
Bring the 2 liters of water to a boil in a large pot.

Add the ginger:
Once boiling, add the ginger slices. Lower the heat and let it simmer for about 15–20 minutes.
