How Many Bacteria Are in Urine?
Many people believe that urine is sterile. While this is untrue, it is true that the number of microorganisms and bacteria in urine is significantly lower than in our saliva.
What we mean is that while bacteria are still present, their concentration is so low that leaving urine in the toilet for a few hours isn’t a problem.
Change Water Pressure
Have you ever taken a shower and flushed the toilet? Chances are, if you live with more than one person, this has happened several times. We assure you, the water pressure has dropped, often resulting in us showering with cold water without warning.
This can also affect the operation of a dishwasher or washing machine while someone else is showering. To avoid changes in water pressure, it’s best to wait until after the shower to flush.
Nighttime Disturbances
If we don’t urinate before going to bed, it’s very likely that we’ll need to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night. This means that when we flush the toilet late at night, the noise can wake us up even more, and therefore others as well.
The recommendation to use the toilet less often only applies when we are at home, but in public places, for obvious hygiene reasons, using the toilet is essential.
